Seeking Nutrition Advisory Council Member

The Richland County Senior Nutrition Program has a vacancy for its Nutrition Advisory Council and is looking for an individual who actively participates at the Germantown (Cazenovia) Meal Site to fill the position. .

Interested applicants must have demonstrated an interest in being an advocate for persons who are receiving meals through the Richland County Nutrition program. Applicants shall not be an elected official or employee of Richland County and shall reflect the diversity of the community. No public or private provider of services may be appointed to the board.    

 
Interested applicants must be able to attend quarterly Nutrition Advisory Council meetings generally held the second Thursday of February, May, August and November from approximately 12:15 pm – 2:00 pm.  A $30 per diem plus mileage is paid to council members in attendance by electronic deposit.  Terms on the council are for 2 years with a maximum of 3 consecutive terms.
