When You Need A Variance…

The Board of Adjustments hears requests of variances to dimensional standards of the Richland County Zoning Ordinance, Richland County Land Division Ordinance, and the Non-Metallic Mining Ordinance. They also hear requests for variances and special exceptions to the Shoreland and Floodplain Ordinances. The Zoning Department can assist you to determine if a variance is needed.
