Notice of Public Hearing for the 2027 Section 5310 Grant Application
There will be a public hearing on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 2:15 p.m. in Conference Rooms A and B of the Community Services Building located at 221 West Seminary Street, Richland Center, WI to receive comment on the 2027 Section 5310 grant application for operating expenses and capital purchase of a new wheelchair accessible vehicle which will have seating capacity for up to five ambulatory passengers and up to two wheelchair passengers.

The federal funding is funded in part by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) as authorized under 49 U.S.C Section 5310 to serve seniors and individuals with disabilities. Funding supports the Richland County Public Transportation programs semi-fixed bus routes and wheelchair transportation into the outlying and border communities of Richland County with stops in Grant, Vernon and Sauk counties.
The 5310 application is available for public review prior to the hearing at the Aging and Disability Resource Center office at 221 W. Seminary Street, Richland Center, WI. Persons unable to attend the hearing and wishing to submit comments may do so by mail, phone or email.
